The KMT Stack runs on three established open-source platforms. What KMT built is everything that makes them one: a single login, one record per person, Grep and Reports, on an instance that runs for your company alone.

One instance, for your company alone.
Every client’s KMT Stack runs on a dedicated server in Europe, owned and run by KMT. Nobody shares your instance, and your data is kept apart from every other client’s.
Only encrypted web traffic (HTTPS) reaches it. The platforms and their databases talk to each other on a private network inside the instance.

One login for everything.
KMT built single sign-on and single sign-out across all three platforms, plus navigation that follows your team from one to the next.
Your team signs in once and moves between analytics, marketing and CRM as if they were one product, because inside the KMT Stack they are.

One person, one story, from first visit to deal.
A visitor arrives from a search. When they fill in a form, they become a contact, and their earlier visits come with them. When they are ready, they reach your CRM linked to that marketing record.
The open-source platforms do not do this on their own. KMT connects them for your business during launch.

Grep and Reports read across all of it.
Grep, the AI assistant, and Reports work across all three platforms at once, so a question about where your customers came from gets one answer.
Both are KMT’s own software and are not open source. Grep drafts the work; a person on your team approves it.

Backed up every night, and watched.
Every instance is backed up every night, encrypted, to storage outside the server. Restoring from those backups is a procedure KMT has practised end to end, not a promise.
Every instance’s health is checked every night, and KMT applies tested platform updates for you.

Analytics
Matomo, for web analytics
Matomo is the best-known open-source alternative to Google Analytics, used by companies, governments and universities around the world. It records every visit, where it came from, and which pages and goals it reached.
Why we chose it: Your visitor data stays in your instance instead of feeding an advertising company, reports are not sampled, and it is built to work within Europe’s privacy rules.

Marketing automation
Mautic, for marketing automation
Mautic is one of the most widely used open-source marketing automation platforms: contacts and segments, email, forms, landing pages, lead scoring and automated journeys.
Why we chose it: It is a complete marketing automation platform with no per-contact pricing, and it remembers what a person did on your website before they ever filled in a form.

Twenty, the CRM
Twenty is a modern open-source CRM: people, companies, deals on a pipeline board, tasks, notes, and custom fields and objects, with a clean interface a sales team will actually use.
Why we chose it: It has what a sales team needs without the clutter of the big CRMs, it can be shaped to your business with custom objects and workflows, and it never charges by the seat.

How it is run
KMT runs it, so your team never has to.
Isolated
Each instance is single-tenant, on a dedicated server in Europe owned and run by KMT. Only encrypted web traffic (HTTPS) reaches it, and the platforms and databases talk on a private network inside it.
Kept current and secure
Servers are hardened before a client ever signs in. Platform versions are pinned and tested before KMT applies an update, so an update never arrives untested.
Backed up and recoverable
Encrypted backups run every night to storage outside the server, and every instance’s health is checked every night. Restoring from backup is a procedure KMT has practised end to end.
Email that arrives
SPF, DKIM and DMARC, the records that prove your email is really from you, are set up during launch, and marketing sending is warmed up gradually so it lands in inboxes.
Your data and AI
Grep runs on Amazon Bedrock in European regions. What it reads stays in Europe and is never used to train anyone’s AI. A data processing agreement is available.
If you ever leave
Your data goes with you, all of it.
Every contact with its full history, every company, deal, email, journey and report is yours, exportable in standard formats whenever you want it. Because the platforms underneath are open source, your data is never locked in a format only one vendor can read.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the KMT Stack open source?
No. The three platforms inside it, Matomo, Mautic and Twenty, are open source. Everything KMT built to make them one system is KMT’s own software and is not open source: single sign-on, the connections between the platforms, Grep, Reports, and the tools KMT uses to install, update, back up and recover every instance.
Could we self-host the platforms ourselves?
Yes, each platform can be self-hosted on its own; that is what open source allows. You would have three separate tools, though. None of KMT’s work comes with them: no single login, no one record per person across the three, no Reports and no Grep. Your team would also take on the hosting, security, updates and backups that KMT handles.
Do our team use the real platforms, or a simplified version?
The real platforms, with their full features. Inside the KMT Stack they are called Analytics, Marketing and CRM, and your team moves between them with one login.
Why build on open-source platforms at all?
Because they are proven. Each has years of development and a large community finding and fixing problems. KMT puts its effort into what none of them does alone: joining them into one system, with Grep and Reports across all three.
Who keeps the platforms up to date?
KMT does. Versions are pinned and tested before an update is applied, so your team never has to think about it.
Where does our data live?
On a dedicated server in Europe, owned and run by KMT. No other company’s data is on it, your data is never used to train anyone’s AI models, and a data processing agreement is available.
